Join Allerton Park Supervisor, Peter Lichtenberger, for a workshop on container plantings on Friday, April 29 at 6pm near the Main Parking Lot. Peter will provide tips and tricks for designing a beautiful flower planting using plants available at our Plant Sale Fundraiser. Learn color combinations and plant pairings that will help you create the best looking front porch planter!

About Peter: Peter is passionate about flowers! He has a degree in Horticulture from the University of Illinois, is a certified arborist, and a licensed pesticide applicator. Peter’s 10 years of experience in the industry include eight as a gardener for Allerton Park, doing much of the annual bed and pot design for the gardens and grounds. He knows plants that will work here in central Illinois – and will provide easy-to-follow advice on creating an annual container that will compliment your home and landscape!
