Russian, E. European & Eurasian Center: Speakers

On March 15-17, Russia held a presidential election, which Vladimir Putin will use to ratify his hold on power.  No anti-war candidates have been allowed to run against him.  The elections come on the heels of the death, in prison, of Alexei Navalny, a leading opposition leader and anti-corruption activist.  They also occur a little over two years since Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
