After retiring from gymnastics in 2012, Olympic gold medalist Shawn Johnson East has continued to build an impressive career as an author, broadcaster, entrepreneur and media personality. Her accomplishments include becoming a New York Times best-selling author, winning “Dancing with the Stars” and launching several businesses alongside her husband, former NFL player Andrew East.
Together, Shawn and Andrew connect with more than 13.8 million followers across social media, host a YouTube channel with more than 1 billion views and produce a New York Times-praised podcast that has reached No. 1 on the overall charts.
During the 2024 Paris Olympics, Shawn served as a gymnastics expert and correspondent for Yahoo! Sports. She later won FOX’s “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test” and was named to Adweek’s 2025 Most Powerful Women in Sports list.
Shawn and Andrew are the parents of three children and recently released their first co-authored book, “The Courage to Commit: Embrace the Radical Power of Sticking with Something,” which debuted on the New York Times Best Sellers list.
The event will be followed by a meet and greet with selected participants.
