So, you think you know what computer chips look like? In this lecture, I will talk about some chips our lab has developed that are built on plastic – they can roll, they can bend, and they may cost less than a penny. I will also discuss our work on chips that are as large as dinner plates. We are using these chips to enable new applications and hit new benchmarks in terms of cost, performance, and energy-efficiency. I might even throw in a discussion of chip shortages somewhere.
