Are you concerned that your students may not be adequately engaged during their learning activities? Being fully engaged 100% of the time is not a realistic expectation, but there are a variety of ways to promote student engagement so they can get the most out of their learning. This workshop will focus on concepts underlying student engagement and practical strategies to engage our students across diverse formats.  

Teaching Excellence - Topics addressed in this workshop relate to the following elements of the Definition of Teaching Excellence at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign:

  • Well-designed
  • Well-delivered

 

This workshop counts towards the requirements of the Graduate Teacher Certificate,the Certificate in Foundations of Teaching.or the Certificate in Technology-Enhanced Teaching.
