A syllabus is a valuable tool that is often underused by students. In addition to being a guide, it can help you make your course more inclusive and accessible. You can also protect yourself form scrutiny, convey expectations, and set boundaries, all at the start of the semester, by articulating course policies. Make the most of your class's go-to document by attending this workshop, where we will analyze examples, talk about the must-haves, and consider best practices.

This workshop is part of the What You Need to Know: Essentials of Course Design summer series. You may sign up for any or all of the workshops in the series using the registration form. If you register, you'll eventually be added to a Canvas course to help follow along with the series. For those planning to join via Zoom, the link will be made available to you through the Canvas course.
