We'll kick off the summer course design series with an overview of backward design, a simple course design method that will help you ensure proper alignment of objectives, assessments, and activities within your course. We'll also devote some time to getting to know one another, which will be especially valuable for those planning to attend several workshops in the series.

This workshop is part of the What You Need to Know: Essentials of Course Design summer series. You may sign up for any or all of the workshops in the series using the registration form. If you register, you'll eventually be added to a Canvas course to help follow along with the series. For those planning to join via Zoom, the link will be made available to you through the Canvas course.
