Your course doesn't happen in a vacuum-- your institution, your space, your students, and your own context all impact how your subject is taught and learned. This session focuses on identifying the situational factors that will inform the way you design your course.

This workshop is part of the What You Need to Know: Essentials of Course Design series. You may sign up for any or all workshops in the series using the registration form. From 3:30pm-4:00pm after every workshop in the series, you can stick around to learn about Canvas features relevant to the day's topic.

This workshop counts towards the Graduate Teacher Certificate or the Certificate in Foundations of Teaching.
