Tired of leading discussion sections where conversations stall halfway through, or take far longer than you imagined they would? Struggling to figure out how to fit everything you need to address in fifty minutes, or how to make your preparation for class quicker and easier? Lesson planning can help with all of these scenarios, even if you don't have total control over what you cover or how you cover it. Join us to learn strategies handpicked to help teaching assistants improve learning and streamline preparation time for their discussion sections.

This is a TA-to-TA workshop, designed for TAs and offered by one of CITL's Graduate Affiliates.

This workshop counts towards the Graduate Teacher Certificate or the Certificate in Foundations of Teaching.
