Meet and talk with preservation experts from the University of Illinois Library and Champaign County Museum Network at this informational event. Visitors are welcome to bring in small, hand-held items or images of larger items in order to discuss specific preservation questions with the specialists. Experts will be available in the following areas: digital and other audio-visual media, textiles, paper and photographic materials, painting and decorative arts, and historic instruments. Weather permitting, experts will be outside leading activities focused on natural preservation. No appraisals will be given nor appraisers recommended at this event. Free and open to the public!
