Sneakers or “kicks” hold iconic status in hip hop culture. From shell-toe Adidas to crisp Nike Air Force 1, the right pair signals style, status, and influence. Design, color, and assemble a paper replica of kicks that define hip hop in the U.S. and beyond. This program is part of the Hip Hop Convene, celebrating hip hop’s legacy and future in creativity, social change, and community empowerment.
