The Department of Statistics is excited to invite you to the 2nd Annual Sandia Data Challenge – a virtual competition that will run from November 7 to November 10! This is your chance to work with real-world data provided by Sandia National Labs and compete for prizes and recognition from Sandia Representatives and Recruiters.
Get your teams registered for this event by October 31!
Because this challenge involves sensitive Sandia data, each participant will need to register individually and agree to the data use agreement. When you fill out your registration, be sure to include your team name and members so we can set up your team’s solution repository before the competition (once everyone has registered and accepted the data agreement).
Do not have a team yet? No problem! You can still register, and we will help match you with other participants before the event.
We are kicking off the challenge with an Info Session on October 30 at 5:00 PM CST! Join us to hear directly from Sandia representatives as they share insights about the challenge and offer tips to help you get started. You will also get to meet the Sandia team and learn how one winner from last year's Data Challenge landed a Sandia internship!
Registered attendees will receive the link to join the Teams call for the Info-Session on October 30.
