Ayelet Tsabari’s National Jewish Book Award winning, novel, Songs for the Brokenhearted, traces the story of the history of Yemeni Israelis through a fictional family. Tsabari visited UIUC in 2019, and was interviewed for Ninth Letter. Thank you to the Einhorn family and co-organization by the Initiative in Holocaust, Genocide, Memory Studies and the Program in Jewish Culture & Society.
