In this AKS (Academy of Korean Studies)-sponsored workshop, we will showcase research that address currently debated issues in the morphology, syntax, and semantics-pragmatics of nominals and nominalizations in Korean and other languages. The workshop will feature both invited speakers and UIUC linguists addressing the following, non-exclusive, list of topics in Korean and other languages, from a diversity of theoretical perspectives as well as experimental and acquisitional research.
