In celebration of the International Greek Language Day, Classics professor Kirk Sanders and Elias Petrou, the librarian for classical studies, medieval studies and modern Greek studies, will be giving talks at the National Hellenic Museum in Chicago on Saturday, February 10, featuring our own UIUC Classics Library’s copy of the first edition of Plato’s works.
