The Penn State Humanities Institute, in partnership with the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign through the Humanities Without Walls Initiative, seeks applications for a Postdoctoral Scholar, beginning Fall 2024. This is a one-year (48-week) term appointment with an excellent possibility of renewal.
This is a residence appointment; it is therefore expected that the Postdoctoral Scholar will work onsite at Penn State’s University Park campus for the full appointment. They are expected to be available for interaction with Penn State faculty and grad students and will participate in the Institute’s colloquia and other events, as appropriate to their interests. The position carries an annual stipend of $62,500, $2,500 in research funds for the appointment, and a modest moving allowance.
