Reflecting on the rising interest in "women as peacebuilders", Dr. Johnson will examine the role of gender in extractive conflict, drawing specifically on ongoing work in the US and Colombia. Dr. Johnson is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences at UIUC. Lunch will be provided for in-person attendees with RSVP.
