Join Pritika Chowdhry in remembering the Partition through the lenses of visual arts, postcolonial feminism, post memory, and diaspora.
Chowdhry’s research-based art practice excavates the counter-memories of the Partition to create experiential art installations that are anti-memorials to the Partition. Chowdhry is a grandchild of the Partition and weaves her family’s experience of the Partition through postmemory. Her research is informed by postcolonial feminisms and her own diasporic (dis)location.
