Marlene Santos is a first-generation undergraduate student double majoring in Latina/Latino Studies and Political Science. In the fall of 2021, Marlene was given the opportunity to intern in a congressional office. Through this testimonio she hopes to share with others what her experience was like as a Latina Congressional Intern and how her LLS major shaped her perspective on her time at Capitol Hill.
