Kofi Bazzell-Smith is an artist, professional boxer, and MFA candidate in the New Media program. His area is Japanese manga, which he produces in English and Japanese. Kofi has both boxed and studied manga with professionals in Japan and gives talks and workshops on manga, language, and international engagement. Kofi’s goal is to promote engagement through art and language on campus.
