HRI Reading Group of interest to students and faculty in linguistic and cultural studies draws from linguistics and the humanistic social sciences to examine the sociopolitical and ideological contexts of language contact and to discuss outcomes of language variation and change in multilingual settings:

Meting times are Mondays, 4:00 p.m., every two weeks (unless otherwise noted), in-between dates for conference presentation practice are available. Participating departments in SLCL: French & Italian, Linguistics, Spanish & Portuguese.
