Becoming by Tiffany Harris is a short film exploring Black femme relationships to land, nature, southernness, and girlhood. Glimpses by Kamari Smalls is a public cinematic sharing of what happened during Homemade’s fall 2020#s Studio Art Day’s with teenage girls and adult homegirls participating in Black girlhood space-making group, Saving Our Lives, Hear Our Truths (SOLHOT) in Champaign, Urbana. The films will screen through a Livestream on KAM’s youtube page and remain active online for a week after the screening event. This event is free and open to all.
