Career Fair Description

In 2019, the Cultural Services of the Embassy of France in the U.S. have partnered with American universities to hold French-language job fairs (Forum de l'emploi Francophone). These jobs fairs are excellent opportunities to spotlight French as a professional asset by connecting students, teachers and business representatives. As highlighted in a recent ACTFL report, French is the third most in-demand foreign language among U.S. employers and is cited by 17% of respondents as being in short supply.

The Forum de l’Emploi Francophone draws Francophile students from all over the US an. The event is organized by the Embassy of France in the US with the support of Louisiana State University and other major universities in the US. Organizations are invited to network virtually with students and alumni and share career opportunities or graduate and professional programs. For more information, visit our Event website.
