Republic of Turkey opened new embassies, the government has signed a number of cooperation agreements with African governments and humanitarian aid organizations from Turkey paid more attention to sub-Saharan Africa and poured more resources to the region. The talk will focus on the history of Turkey’s involvement in Africa, stages of relations and finally examine the motives behind Turkey’s growing interest in the continent.
