Originating Calendar: Neuroscience Program Seminars; Oxytocin is often considered to be a peptide that is important for behaviors related to social approach such as pair bonding or stress buffering. However, sometimes oxytocin can increase anxiety. Our work shows that these diverse effects are mediated by distinct but overlapping neural circuits.
