Dr. Penelope Shihab
CEO and Founder, Monojo Biotech; Skinue.com; Applied Scientific Research Fund

Born and raised in Palestine, Dr. Penelope Shihab has merged her scientific background with her business acumen. With a PhD in Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology from Cambridge University, she worked to realize Jordan’s potential to become a thriving, world-renowned biotech hub.

Dr. Shihab founded Monojo in 2005, a Jordanian biotechnology research firm; Skinue in 2014, an American skincare line that makes products from camel’s milk, and MyRoyale in 2016, a digital marketing platform.
