Nesbitt African American Cultural Center, UIC's African American Cultural Center, & UIS's Diversity Center) are excited to welcome Dr. Michele Bratcher Goodwin as the 2022 Black History Month keynote speaker. Dr. Goodwin is the author of Policing the Womb: Invisible Women & The Criminalization of Motherhood, Founding Director of the Center for Biotechnology & Global Health Policy, & a Senior Lecturer at the Harvard Medical School.
