Join us for a Gallery Conversation between guest curator, English professor Tim Dean and the artist Hal Fischer in the exhibition Hal Fischer Photographs: Seriality, Sexuality, Semiotics.
Fischer and Dean will talk about the collaborative process of their work on the exhibition, Fischer’s early photographic work while a student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, his move to San Francisco, and why he stopped taking photographs at the end of the 1970s.
