Food for Thought, a Lunch-on-Us series, is a weekly noontime discussion focused on topics relevant to the Asian American community. Past discussions include topics such as nutrition, mental health, sexual health, and media representation of Asian Americans. 

Fear of better options is a dilemma we face every day. What’s the best use of my time, energy, and resources? We face the same dilemma when it comes to our careers. Join us to learn about what career opportunities Gies Graduate programs has to offer and how it might be the right fit for your future. 

Jonathan Harmon is an Illinois alumnus; he graduated in 2013 and majored in Kinesiology. After graduating he worked as a QA/QC assistant in the oil and gas industry for 2 years before transitioning to working full time for a non-profit ministry (InterVarsity) here at the University of Illinois. Now he serves as the Assistant Director for Recruitment and Admissions with Gies Graduate programs.
