    Pattern and Process is an exhibition that investigates how patterns create- or sometimes challenge- order, systems, and processes. the exhibition presents works from LAM's twentieth- and twenty-first-century collection.

    The Ink Wash Paintings of Shozo Sato is an exhibition of rarely exhibited ink wash paintings by artist, author, Japan House founder, and professor emeritus Shozo Sato. These paintings celebrate Sato's enduring and thoughtful engagement with vistas of the American Southwest, American West, and childhood memories of Osaka and Hiroshima during World War II.

    In this 2-hour instructor led workshop we will explore the Visio interface and create graphics. Visio comes with diagram-specific shapes and tools that enable you to quickly create professional-looking flowcharts, organization charts, timelines, & more. We will learn how to create some basic shapes, and connect, distribute, and align them with Auto-connect.

    Japan House offers the opportunity for guests to celebrate autumn together in the beauty of the gardens with a special tea ceremony to honor the Harvest Moon followed by a special shakuhachi performance by the ponds near Japan House. Note: Japan House will NOT be open to the public during Tsukimi. Activities will take place outside so plan accordingly.
