Join Director Nadya Mason and your colleagues this spring for informal conversation and coffee in the Beckman Garden. This Gather in the Garden Series will be from 10-10:30 a.m. every Tuesday through the spring semester.

In this hybrid event in 1005 Beckman, Beckman Institute Director Nadya Mason will share updates about the Beckman Café renovation, the recently funded Beckman seed and engagement proposals, and more. If joining in person isn’t possible, you may register in advance to join via zoom.

Join us online on the first Thursdays of the month from 12pm-1pm as we welcome new faculty, new stories, and new ways of thinking about the art of teaching.

We will reflect on the material we have learned over the previous sessions, and leverage it to build an inclusive research team that gets the best out of everybody. These sessions have helped us develop some of the interpersonal skills needed to handle problematic encounters, carve out spaces for ourselves, and build more just systems on a small scale.
