Join us each month for Hobby Night! December’s hobby will be painting with materials and snacks provided. We will be following a painting tutorial while discussing winter safety tips. Let’s make art together!

Family & Graduate Housing residents are invited to celebrate the season at our annual ice skating trip to the University of Illinois Ice Arena (406 E Armory Ave, Champaign, IL 61820) on Friday, December 13, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Enjoy an evening of skating, community, and winter cheer! We’ll have pizza and hot chocolate to keep you warm and energized!

Join the Champaign-Urbana Public Health District (CUPHD) Playgroup at Orchard Downs! This welcoming playgroup is designed for infants through age 3, accompanied by a parent or caregiver. It’s a wonderful opportunity to connect with other families, support your child’s early development, and build community.

Our friendly Mother Goose is packing her basket full of rhymes and flying down to Orchard Downs! Join us for a delightful morning of songs, stories, and giggles. Mother Goose will sing her favorite tunes and share magical tales, and by the end, she will give away a free book to each child.

Join us at Family & Graduate Housing’s Winter Welcome event on Saturday, January 24 from 2-3:30 p.m. at the Orchard Downs Community Center. This event welcomes new residents to the apartments and invites current residents to learn about campus and community resources. A delicious hot cocoa bar will be available to keep you warm!
