Origin Ventures Academy for Entrepreneurial Leadership in Gies College of Business is launching a new Student Leadership Board to play a critical role in building capacity to create new cross-campus entrepreneurship and social innovation programs, enhance access and inclusion, capture stories of impact, and expand our professional network. The Illinois Impact Incubator is a co-curricular incubation program for students of all majors and levels who have a passion to develop an idea or early-stage venture focused on social or environmental impact. All types of ventures (e.g., social enterprises, social businesses, nonprofits) are welcome. Application deadline is Sept 20. Rolling admissions. Apply early!

WIE Connect is a recurring Women in Entrepreneurship community-building event hosted by Origin Ventures Academy for Entrepreneurial Leadership. It provides a venue for women to connect to resources, people, opportunities and networks in the Illinois entrepreneurship ecosystem. Featured guest speaker is Gies Business Alumna Hilary Pham, Founder of Equability.

The Illinois Economic Justice Project is an inclusive entrepreneurship outreach initiative to support local MSMEs (micro-, small and medium-sized enterprises) created by women, BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color), Veterans, and other underserved entrepreneurs.
