The ancient poet Sappho coined "sweetbitter" in one of her most evocative verses, still striking us to the heart nearly three millennia later. As with so many ancient figures, the poet is more legend than person today, her story told and retold even as her poetry continues to enchant and move. This exhibit will be on display through mid-August 2026.

With over 100 prints on display—including works by Rembrandt, Goya, and Dürer—"Imagination, Faith, and Desire" is extraordinary for the significance of the works and the exceptionally high quality of the impressions, the excellence of which rivals the holdings at many major museums. On view September 25, 2025, through February 28, 2026.

From Lab to Clinic: Advancing Dysphagia Rehabilitation with Wearable Technology

Join us for the fourth webinar in the Costumes & Customs Lecture Series, sponsored by the Office of Arts Integration and organized in collaboration with the University Library, the Department of Theatre, the Department of Classics, the Spurlock Museum, and the Krannert Art Museum, explores the history and cultural significance of clothing across time and place.

In recent years, the shipping industry has increasingly strategized to decarbonize itself. Conventionally, the industry has been understood as a hard-to-abate sector, one that is hard to decarbonize due to its heavy reliance on fossil fuels. In response to the global call for climate action, however, it has increased its engagement in decarbonization in recent years.
