Rodríguez-López, professor of chemistry, will be discussing, "Everything, everywhere, all at once – decoupling (and embracing) the complexity of (electro)chemical processes at electrified interfaces."     She will discuss ongoing projects, including efforts to identify and grow new materials with rare-earth atoms at stoichiometric concentrations in order to reduce the disorder-induced inhomogeneous broadening and investigating nanophotonic integration of rare-earth doped samples that aims to increase the light-atom interaction in order to make practical quantum devices.

Graduate student Melinh Lai will moderate the discussion.
