Wei Wei is a Professor of Sociology at East China Normal University. His teaching and research interests include gender and sexuality, urban sociology and social movement, with a focus on LGBTQ communities and politics in contemporary China.

This talk is part of the Illinois Global Institute Speaker Series "The Global Impacts of the War in Ukraine. This hybrid event will take place in room 306 Coble Hall and available virtually.
