Bike registration is easy and mandatory! Register now to protect your bicycle. All bicycles on campus must be registered in the University’s new National Bicycle Registration system. Your bicycle is not protected until you attach the registration tag (529 Shield) to your bike. There is a one-time $10 registration fee per bicycle.

This is a course for adult cyclists who know how to bicycle but want to learn basic safety skills. The class will include learning proper riding techniques for riding safely in and out of traffic as well as Illinois Rules of the Road for bicyclists. Students will need to register and provide their own bicycle and helmet (helmets are required).

What better way to celebrate Mother’s Day than to take a bike ride! We will meet in the parking lot next to Anita Purvis Nature Center, ride around Crystal Lake Park and then bicycle to Leal Park and enjoy a treat at the Culver’s on Race. All bikes and abilities are welcome! Helmets are mandatory!

The City of Urbana and the Urbana Park District have a plan to connect our city’s parks with a “Green Loop” that allows people to bicycle from one park to another? Join us for a bike ride to explore a southern portion of the Green Loop. We will meet in the parking lot at Meadowbrook Park that is located off Race St. south of Clark Lindsey. The loop is about 6 miles total
