Christian Guerrero-Juarez will discuss a novel multiscale systems biology approach for understanding abnormal scar tissue. He’ll cover how a new gene biomarker can identify and manipulate scar cell subsets, using single-cell and spatial transcriptomics to study skin regeneration. Guerrero-Juarez, a third-year medical student, has a rich background in biological sciences.
