The National Certification Corporation (NCC) Electronic Fetal Monitoring Subspecialty Certification is a competency-based examination designed for licensed healthcare professionals in the US and Canada who utilize electronic fetal monitoring to care for intrapartum and antepartum obstetrical patients.

The S.T.A.B.L.E. Program is an educational tool for community hospital caregivers, developed to serve as a concise guideline for the pre-transport stabilization and care of sick newborns. The program is designed for the period following successful resuscitation of the newborn.
