The annual TiME Day Symposium features speakers Sjoerd Finnema, Michael King, Yang Liu, and Gregory Underhill, as well as student presentations and an awards ceremony.

The Cancer Center at Illinois will hold its 2nd annual Undergraduate Research Symposium on April 25, 2024, from 3:30-5:30 p.m. in Beckman Institute atrium. Undergraduate students from CCIL research programs will present posters highlighting their research experiences.

The Cancer Center at Illinois and the Carl R. Woese Institute for Genomic Biology will host Luisel Ricks-Santi for a seminar titled "Molecular Epidemiology of Triple Negative Breast Cancer in African American Women." Ricks-Santi is a research member at the University of Florida Health Cancer Center and the Associate Director for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
