Beckman's Biomedical Imaging Center is accepting proposals to help labs transition to 7 Tesla MRI or create new lines of research on 7 Tesla. They're due at 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 17.

The University of Illinois Archives is hosting a monthly Women in Science Lecture Series that will feature speakers from across the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign’s diverse and multidisciplinary scientific enterprise. The lecture series seeks to highlight the important innovations and contributions of women in the sciences at the University of Illinois.

Professor and Head of Department of Cell and Developmental Biology, Dr. Prasanth will discuss her research on eukaryotic DNA replication, chromosome structure and maintenance, heterochromatin organization, and cell cycle control.

The Main Library’s Reading Room will be closed for a private event from Thursday, November 14 at 4:00 p.m. until Friday, November 15 at 6:00 p.m. Normal hours will resume on Saturday, November 16. Parking in Lot E3 may be limited.
