Dr. Chen will review recent progress and challenges in the field of molecular biology. He will present their recent innovation in developing multimodal photoacoustic/ultrasound imaging techniques to image across various scales from the molecular level to animals.

Marcin Wozniak and Nathiya Vaithiyalingam Chandra Sekaran will speak at the Beckman Institute's virtual Director's Seminar at noon Thursday, Dec. 1. The seminar will be a hybrid event held in Beckman, room 1005 and via Zoom. Please indicate whether you will attend virtually or in person.

Dr. Selvin will discuss various techniques used to study neurons, and separately, molecular motors. He will also show that MINFLUX, another technique recently acquired by UIUC, can get nanometer resolution on neurons and has the potential for millisecond resolution with molecular motors.
