    The I.D.E.A. Women's Health Coalition, a faculty-lead group on campus, is hosting a health expo and a town hall meeting. The events are geared toward raising awareness about mental health during and after pregnancy. All university community members are welcome, and free food and fun prizes are available for attendees.

    The College sponsors the Dean's Diversity Lecture Series to encourage introspection on timely issues of equity and diversity. These talks offer a space for productive dialogue about concerns such as perceived inequities, biases, and microaggressions that impact our campus community.

    This annual symposium will feature instructors of the Education Justice Project, who will reflect on their work with incarcerated scholars at the Danville Correctional Center. All are welcome, especially individuals who are thinking about applying to teach at the prison for the Fall 2018 semester.

    This presentation aims to discuss in theoretical terms the current socio-historical moment in which not only the few watch the many (Bentham’s “Panopticon”), and the many watch the few (the mass media “Synopticon”), but also, at the same time, the many watch the many all over the world through the Internet (a phenomenon that I term the “Multisynopticon”).
