Are you ready to enhance your intercultural skills? Join us for Exploring Intercultural Communication Styles, an interactive training session designed to help faculty, staff, scholars, and graduate teaching assistants navigate various intercultural communication skills.

Join us for a relaxed summer evening at Illini Grove! Enjoy classic picnic snacks like s’mores, watermelon, and more while playing outdoor favorites like cornhole and frisbee. Kid-friendly activities included. All are welcome, no registration required.

Step into a warm and welcoming space where culture and creativity come together. At this drop-in event, volunteers will introduce you to the beautiful art and cultural history of henna. South Asian inspired lunch will be served to complete the experience. All are welcome to listen or share!

Build your intercultural skills in this training that introduces the Intercultural Development Continuum (IDC), a framework used to understand and enhance intercultural competence, and provides insight into the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI), a tool for assessing and developing these skills.

Join us for a screening of the award-winning film "East Side Sushi" about a Latina mother aspiring to become a sushi chef while working in a Japanese restaurant. We will provide materials to engage in a sushi making activity for an afternoon that will provide food for thought on the intersections of culture and identity, and delight your tastebuds with a culinary feast.

Join us for fun activities and get connected with other students and find your home away from home. In this session we will offer a variety of crafts to work on, including crochet and calligraphy. We will provide materials and will be able to teach you the basics of each. Lunch is provided. All are welcome, no registration required.
