The International Crosstie & Fastening System Symposium is held at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. This 3 day conference consists of presentations, discussions, and a technical tour that focuses on the state of the art in timber, concrete, steel, and composite crosstie and fastening system design, performance, research, modeling, and inspection.
