In this graduate student discussion session Dr. Moore and Dr. Heemstra will talk about how to build a better culture of training and support for grad students at the Beckman Institute and beyond. They will also discuss the idea to ask faculty mentors to take a pledge to do more to put mentoring first and become more centered on training students and postdocs.
