How does it know what it knows? What does it do well? What are the processes behind it? The presentation will conclude with a short, speculative overview of the future of AI.

  • Colorful flyer for a crafting event titled "Crafternoons: Crafting Connections @ WRC." The top of the flyer features images of art supplies including paint, beads, scissors, thread, and buttons. The event occurs every 1st Friday from 2–4 pm. The next session is on October 3 and the activity will be Affirmation Jars. There are illustrated jars on the flyer, one with a heart and another with the words "You deserve all the good things." A note at the bottom states: “This event is open to all eligible persons regardless of gender, race, color or national origin. Funding provided by the Student Cultural Programming Fee.” The design is playful and colorful, with craft-themed decorations throughout.

    The Five-Room Dungeon is a method Gamemasters can use to keep their adventures new and exciting without having to put in a lot of extra work for each session. In this workshop, we'll apply a similar strategy to identify the core components of a good lesson, and see how different arrangements of core components can create new and interesting lessons.
