The topic of the devastation of libraries during World War II has been well publicized. However, the American Library Association (ALA)’s assistance with postwar cultural rehabilitation of European and Asian libraries remains relatively unknown.
Dr. Echeverría will discuss research-based solutions to solve global challenges. He aims to motivate a new generation to use technical and institutional changes to solve international and environmental challenges in a collective and sustained manner.
