During this training, we will discuss and explore visual strategies, local resources available for Early Childhood Education classrooms, and visual strategies to support challenging behaviors. We will create sensory bottles, and participants can take ready to use social emotional tools.

There are so many books written about diversity and inclusion. In this training we will explore several books celebrating diversity and discuss how to use them in the classroom. We have more books and websites to share to support creating an inclusive environment.

In this module, practitioners learn about the steps of Prevent-Teach-Reinforce for Young Children (PTR-YC) and how PTR-YC is used as a manualized process for conducting a functional behavioral assessment and developing a behavior support plan.

Through this training, we will discuss and explore various beneficial resources in Early Childhood Education classrooms, including: sensory supports, fidgets, weighted items, visual supports, and more. I will provide the items for participants to explore along with discussing the benefits of their use.
