    A captivating entertainment for all ages, The Great Duel between Orlando and Rinaldo for the Beautiful Angelica’s Sake by the Italian theatre company Associazione Figli d’Arte Cuticchio. This is a rare opportunity to see a performance of the Sicilian Opera dei Pupi, led by master puppeteer Mimmo Cuticchio, one of the last heirs of this theater form, outside of Italy.

    Join The Rare Book & Manuscript Library for a public viewing of Sir Isaac Newton’s “Opus Galli Anonymi.” This exciting manuscript, acquired through a generous gift from Library Friends Jim and Lionelle Elsesser, is Newton’s Latin translation of a French work on making the philosopher’s stone, with corrections and notes by the mathematician based on his own scientific work.

    The website “Marcel Proust’s World War I Letters,” featuring a selection of letters from the years 1914-1918, is the first phase of Corr-Proust, a new digital edition of French novelist Marcel Proust’s correspondence. Caroline Szylowicz and François Proulx will present the website and discuss the next phases of this long-term digital humanities project.
